Fall is truly one of my favourite times of year. I love the chilly breezes, the changing colours, the rustling leaves. Snuggling up with a warm quilt and a cup of hot tea is truly my idea of paradise, and fall comfort food? Oh yeah – stews and soups and casseroles abound in the Blissful kitchen! Living in the prairies, our fall is brief and really just a fleeting harbinger of the cold winter to come. Some day I hope to end up somewhere with a real fall season, but until then, I have to enjoy it while I can!
I was wasting time on Twitter a couple days ago, and my lovely crafty pal Chelle tweeted about an upcoming fall-themed blog hop. I’m in desperate need of cardmaking inspiration, so I decided to get in on the fun! I don’t normally make seasonal cards “just because”, I’m in the rather uninspiring habit of making cards for particular occasions. I thought this would be a good challenge, to get me thinking outside of the usual birthday-baby-christmas cards that I usually make. I’ve been sitting on these two stamp sets for a while, and sinceI feel they’re really just perfect for fall it’s time to bust them out!

Your tree card is awesome! I love the embossed background and the great colours. Love the cute little mushroom card too with each stamped in their own colour. The ribbon trims on the cards is beautiful.
